What you will do

• Support the development of real-time data pipelines and backend APIs.
• Build backend services primarily in Python, with some frontend work using React & JavaScript.
• Help deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, using tools like Docker and Pulumi.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists on AI-driven features, including LLMs and time-series data.
• Learn how to design systems that are reliable, scalable, and performant.
• Work in an Agile environment with an emphasis on clean, readable, and well-tested code.

Requirements

• Commercial experience or strong project experience with Python.
• Some experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (ideally React).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation (Docker).
• Experience using relational databases such as Postgres, or a solid understanding of SQL.
• Interest in Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformer architectures, time-series analysis or forecasting.
• Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with engineers and data scientists.
• Comfortable working in a team-based, Agile development environment.
