TL;DR

AI Engineer (AI): Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining AI solutions that drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and unlock new opportunities for an insurance company with an accent on AI models, algorithms, and workflow automation. Focus on translating business requirements into technical solutions, building AI-powered workflows, and maintaining existing AI infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid working in Liverpool City Centre, UK. Can only consider applicants who have at least one year remaining on their Graduate or Post-Study Work visa. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: up to £45,000

What you will do

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI models and algorithms.
• Work closely with AI Analysts and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Utilise tools like n8n, Azure (AKS, Storage, Postgres), OpenWebUI, and AI Foundry to build and deploy AI-powered workflows.
• Maintain and improve existing AI infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AI solutions.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python/Javascript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure (preferred) or AWS.
• Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of data engineering principles and practices.
• Understanding of insurance fraud and counter-fraud tools.
