Senior Compliance Manager

TL;DR

Senior Compliance Manager: Implementing and managing customer-centric compliance strategies for various information security frameworks with an accent on ensuring successful customer audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and championing best practices. Focus on designing and implementing new compliance and security offerings and staying informed on relevant laws and regulations.

Location: Hybrid in Washington D.C., USA. All employees must be able to travel by air to company offsites two to four times per year.

What you will do

• Engage with customers and partner auditors to ensure satisfaction and successful customer audits, especially for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Assist the Customer Success team with customer implementations of industry-standard requirements for compliance and security.
• Champion best practices to customers regarding control requirements across various compliance frameworks.
• Partner with customer success, business, product, and engineering teams to design and implement new compliance and security offerings.
• Stay informed and draft updates on new frameworks, laws, rules, and regulations related to compliance, privacy, and information security.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information security auditing roles related to CMMC, FedRAMP, SOC 2, and/or ISO 27001.
• Strong empathy for customers, security, and compliance.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, balancing the needs of the hirify.global team and customers.
• Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

• Experience with penetration testing and other security frameworks.
