What you will do

• Improve storage efficiency for metrics, logs, and other data types.
• Advance ES|QL solution for querying data and optimize storage layout for object storage.
• Enhance logging solutions and metrics processing capabilities.
• Extend logic for efficiently querying and aggregating stored data.
• Design and implement advanced algorithms and data structures at system/hardware level.
• Contribute to hirify.globalsearch, building new features, fixing bugs, and increasing test coverage.

Requirements

• Strong core Java skills with standard library data structures and concurrency constructs.
• Excellent understanding of concurrent and parallel programming principles.
• Excellent background in applied data processing (data structures, algorithms).
• Familiarity with storage systems and low-level abstractions in OS.
• High level of autonomy and ability to guide projects end-to-end.
• Solid software engineering foundations and proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
• Comfortable developing collaboratively and providing/receiving feedback.
• Experience with data storage technologies (hirify.globalsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).

• Experience building things with hirify.globalsearch.
• Experience working on data storage technology.
• Experience designing, leading, and owning cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience with open-source projects, source control workflow, and continuous integration.
• Past working experience with database, search engine, OS, or cloud service development.
