TL;DR
Product Manager, UDS Server and Client (Fintech): Manages the Terminal Management System products, working with scrum teams and stakeholders to deliver payment acceptance solutions with an accent on product vision, roadmap alignment, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on translating business requirements into functional specifications, identifying system gaps, and supporting the go-to-market strategy for new product initiatives.
Location: Hybrid, based 1-2 days a week out of our Steeles Ave, Toronto offices
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

What you will do
- Serve as the scrum Product Owner, defining and prioritizing the solution delivery roadmap and IT backlog.
- Evaluate input from multiple stakeholders to develop detailed functional & non-functional requirements through Agile user stories.
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements, collaborating with the delivery team to recommend acceptable solutions & delivery timelines for stakeholders.
- Identify & mitigate gaps with existing systems/processes, such as manual processes that should be automated, security risks, and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with the Agile team to regularly inspect and adapt the software development processes, driving continuous improvement.
- Develop business cases for new product functionality to serve as inputs to decision-making, prioritization, pricing, and client value proposition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management or Business Analyst roles.
- Experience in similar business product services and/or external customer/market experience.
- Experience with Agile software products and delivery methodology.
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in Canada on a full-time basis without the need for current or future immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- Experience in a software development environment or in a professional services role.
- Software or IT background (i.e., degree or experience).
- Direct experience with doing software development, testing and/or business analysis.
