Location: USA - Sunnyvale, CA. This role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US and be able to pass background and fingerprint checks.

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package.

What you will do

• Manage network communications event traffic between security cloud and customer resources.
• Lead major initiatives with high autonomy, designing proprietary Cloud Protocols.
• Collaborate closely with Falcon Sensor teams for various platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android).
• Apply performance focus to scale hirify.global into the future.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or commensurate experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Over 7 years' experience in a full-time backend software development role.
• Ample experience building high volume services and systems for a cloud-delivered SaaS product.
• Solid grounding in at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalability challenges, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing.
• Thorough understanding of engineering best practices including testing, code reviews, and resilient architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot and pinpoint system failures across a pipeline of services.
• Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Industry experience implementing web servers and load balancers.
• Authored and led successful open source libraries and projects.
• Existing exposure to Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
• Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
