Location: Remote, must be based in Canada. Employees can work outside of Canada for up to 90 days per calendar year.

Salary: CAD $151,200 - $189,000 + equity compensation

What you will do

• Partner with product engineers to diagnose and resolve production issues and build preventative solutions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of system components, designing for reliability and maintainability.
• Contribute to platform tools and frameworks to help engineers ship reliably.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, and Data partners to align technical decisions with client needs.
• Help establish technical standards and best practices for development.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience with demonstrated growth in technical scope.
• Experience in optimizing platform engineering and/or infrastructure.
• Knowledge of 2 or more of Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
• Experience using LLMs (e.g., Claude) to drive changes across codebases.
• Strong problem-solving skills with interest in getting to the root cause of complex issues.
• Experience designing and maintaining production systems with high availability requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders.
