What you will do
- Own full-cycle U.S. payroll processing across multiple states.
- Manage payroll systems for accurate wage, overtime, variable compensation, and benefits calculations.
- Partner with PEOs to establish payroll and compliance requirements for state expansion.
- Coordinate with internal People teams on payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, and open enrollment.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislation, including FLSA and EEOC.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports, including quarterly and annual tax filings, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing full-cycle, multi-state US payroll operations.
- Hands-on experience supporting payroll for organizations with 500+ employees.
- Strong understanding of PEO models and functionality.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and compliance requirements (e.g., FLSA, EEOC).
- Experience handling complex payroll reporting, including quarterly and annual filings.
- English: B2 required for clear and effective communication.
