What you will do

• Own full-cycle U.S. payroll processing across multiple states.
• Manage payroll systems for accurate wage, overtime, variable compensation, and benefits calculations.
• Partner with PEOs to establish payroll and compliance requirements for state expansion.
• Coordinate with internal People teams on payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, and open enrollment.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local payroll legislation, including FLSA and EEOC.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports, including quarterly and annual tax filings, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing full-cycle, multi-state US payroll operations.
• Hands-on experience supporting payroll for organizations with 500+ employees.
• Strong understanding of PEO models and functionality.
• In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and compliance requirements (e.g., FLSA, EEOC).
• Experience handling complex payroll reporting, including quarterly and annual filings.
• English: B2 required for clear and effective communication.
