TL;DR
3D Game Animator (Game Development): Responsible for animating 3D characters for a new game title. Focus on creating high-quality animations in Blender and integrating them into the game.
Location: Remote. While the company welcomes people to join them in their Los Angeles office, this will never be a requirement.

Evening Star is creating a new 3D game.
What you will do
- Create high-quality animations for stylised 3D characters in Blender.
- Integrate 3D animation assets into the game.
- Identify and resolve issues with the 3D animation pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with the Art Director and leads to create required animations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of character animation experience with at least one shipped commercial title.
- Proficiency in Blender or Maya.
- Familiarity with the core principles of western animation.
- Knowledge of Unity3D, Unreal 4, or other game engines.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple assignments, confidently estimate and execute task.
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable with GitHub, Perforce, SVN, or other comparable version control systems.
Nice to have
- Able to rig characters from scratch and/or identify and rectify technical issues with character rigs.
- Experience with proprietary game engines.
- Experience with animating for games in the Platforming genre (2D or 3D), or related Action genres.
- Experience working with established/licensed IP.
