🧑‍💻 About You We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Lead Software Engineer who will be the strongest technical contributor within an outcome team. This role is first and foremost about building excellent software, setting a high technical bar, and helping the rest of the team level up through example, mentorship, and technical guidance.

You will work closely with Product and QA to shape solutions, but your primary impact comes from writing, reviewing, and evolving production code. While this role includes people management responsibilities, leadership is expressed mainly through technical excellence, decision-making, and raising the quality of the team’s output.

As we scale, we rely heavily on AI and automation to increase engineering leverage. We are looking for engineers who actively experiment with AI-assisted development and help teams adopt more effective ways of building software.

📌What You’ll Do As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be deeply involved in building, reviewing, and shaping our systems while ensuring the team consistently delivers high-quality outcomes.

• Be the primary technical contributor on the team, owning complex problems and setting the quality bar for implementation.
• Design, build, and evolve core parts of our web and mobile applications using Vue 3, Quasar, Capacitor, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform services such as Firebase and Firestore.
• Drive architectural decisions at the team level and contribute to cross-team technical alignment through the Lead Engineers guild.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code, and ensure the same standards are upheld across the team through code reviews.
• Work closely with Product and QA to translate business problems into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor and support Software Engineers through hands-on collaboration, pairing, and technical feedback.
• Identify technical risks, performance issues, and scalability concerns early, and proactively address them.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, OpenAI) to increase development efficiency and help the team adopt AI-assisted workflows.
• Contribute to improving engineering practices, tooling, and standards as the organization grows.
