Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing hirify.global's core video editor, developing features that make video editing more intuitive, powerful, and accessible with an accent on implementing cutting-edge AI capabilities like Edit-by-Text and auto-editing workflows. Focus on solving complex technical challenges, including performance optimization for video rendering, responsive UIs, and scalable solutions for a growing user base.

Location: Hybrid in London, Amsterdam, or Barcelona. Expected to spend 3 days a week in the office during the first 6 months, then 1 day a week in the office.

What you will do

• Build and refine hirify.global's core video editor, implementing AI capabilities like Edit-by-Text and auto-editing workflows.
• Own features end-to-end from concept to production, including timeline, playback, effects, transitions, and AI tools.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to create seamless editing experiences.
• Solve complex technical challenges in video rendering performance, responsive UIs, and scalable architecture.
• Drive quality and innovation through experiments, metric analysis, and pushing browser-based video editing boundaries.

Requirements

• Strong ownership and proactive problem-solving to deliver user value.
• Strong TypeScript skills with comfort in complex, interactive UIs and modern web development patterns.
• Interest in AI/LLMs and excitement to integrate these technologies into user-facing features.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, make architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers.
• Commitment to quality, including writing testable code and debugging complex issues for reliable, performant products.
• Effective communication skills for technical concepts with non-technical and distributed teammates.
