• Drive the strategic design vision and direction for AI-powered search across all traveler brands.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing design team, fostering a culture of clarity and excellence.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Data Science leadership to align design with broader company AI initiatives.
• Define and scale design systems and standards across multiple global brands and surfaces.
• Translate complex technical search opportunities into intuitive, human-centered product experiences.
• Represent the traveler experience in strategic forums to influence long-term search roadmaps.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in product design, including 4+ years in design leadership at scale.
• Expertise in search, discovery, or recommendation systems, with deep AI/ML understanding.
• Proven ability to simplify complex data and build trust through product experiences.
• Demonstrated success in scaling and coaching high-performing design teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication and storytelling skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Deep knowledge of conversational interfaces and semantic search.
• Experience working directly with ML engineers to ship models at scale.
