What you will do

• Drive algorithm development and implementation in spatial audio, psychoacoustics, and other audio-related fields.
• Develop requirements based on research or user input and assist with platform integration.
• Perform systems-level multi-threaded programming and debugging using C and C++.
• Collaborate with international counterparts to contribute to PlayStation’s Tempest 3D Audio technology and audio ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital signal processing experience required.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience as a technical contributor to a project involving spatial audio.
• Solid understanding of basic acoustic and psychoacoustic principles.

Nice to have

• Basic source control experience (git).
• Knowledge of audio production tools and software (e.g., Reaper, VST Development).
• Embedded systems development.
• Graphics or GPU programming experience.
• ML/AI modeling and training experience.
• Experience in developing novel audio technologies.
