• Lead technical direction and shape the architecture for the new Search AI Platform.
• Mentor cross-functional teams including ML engineers, data scientists, SREs, and platform engineers.
• Prototype new search models and deploy them at scale for millions of users.
• Play a key role in growing OLX’s data science practice and shaping AI application.
• Deliver solutions that bring measurable business and user impact.

Requirements

• Experience as a Principal Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar technical leadership role.
• Strong background in building and deploying AI/ML systems for search platforms.
• Proficiency in machine learning, data science, and platform engineering concepts.
• Ability to shape architecture and mentor technical teams.
• Must work onsite in Barcelona, Spain.
