Salary: $192,500–$304,500 CAD

What you will do

• Define, lead, and contribute to the development of data-intensive enhancements for hirify.globalsearch.
• Research the latest industry features, data structures, and algorithms to build relevant capabilities.
• Work with partners and product teams to understand their needs and build a strategic vision for ES|QL.
• Provide technical vision and direction for customer/user interfaces and compute infrastructure.
• Improve areas of hirify.globalsearch based on your questions and instincts as an authority.

Requirements

• Work authorization to work from Canada is required.
• Experience leading technical projects in data and enterprise architecture, with proven knowledge in building and running sophisticated technical infrastructures.
• Experience mentoring expert engineers and defining a long-term technical vision for data-intensive applications.
• Hands-on experience with search and analytics APIs (e.g., Splunk SPL, hirify.globalsearch, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic).
• Strong skills in core Java, data structures, concurrency constructs, and a strong desire to optimize.
• Working with a high level of autonomy, able to tackle projects and guide them from beginning to end.
• Experience with data storage technologies (hirify.globalsearch, Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience building with hirify.globalsearch and understanding search/information retrieval theory.
• Experience working with open-source projects and familiarity with source control workflow and continuous integration.
