What you will do

• Deploy and manage new Synthetics locations across multiple regions and cloud providers.
• Develop tooling for managing existing Synthetics locations efficiently.
• Design and develop fully automated, zero-downtime migration tools for various infrastructure types.
• Contribute to shaping new infrastructure technologies for the Synthetics product.
• Provide expert guidance to Synthetics developers on architecture decisions and service configuration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong programming experience with a structured language (Go, Python).
• Experience running production environments within one or several Cloud platforms.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code for automation.
• Production experience with distributed compute/storage tools like Kubernetes, Cassandra, Postgres, Kafka, or Redis.
• Value correctness and efficiency, with a thorough approach to diagnosing production issues.
