What you will do

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design through to deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Support services pre-launch by consulting on system design, developing software platforms and frameworks, and capacity planning.
• Scale, automate, and evolve systems by driving changes that enhance reliability, efficiency, and performance.
• Optimize and maintain live services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Practice incident response and blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., .NET Core, C#, Java/Scala/JVM, Python), and data structures or algorithms.
• Proficiency in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience working in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking.
• A systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills.
