Lead Cloud Engineer (Oracle Retail)

TL;DR

Lead Cloud Engineer (Oracle Retail): Contributing to the design, development, and support of cloud-based solutions within the Oracle Retail / Xstore POS ecosystem with an accent on infrastructure as code, backend services, and CI/CD pipelines. Focus on providing L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring the stability, performance, and security of cloud environments.

What you will do

• Design, build, and support cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Develop and maintain backend services and automation scripts.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient deployments.
• Provide L2/L3 support, including incident troubleshooting and resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, and business teams to support Oracle Retail solutions.
• Support the stability, performance, and security of cloud-based environments.

Requirements

• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Shell.
• Backend development experience using Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform and/or Ansible).
• Experience using version control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab).
• Proven experience providing L2/L3 production support, including troubleshooting and RCA documentation.
• Upper-intermediate English level (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience with Xstore POS or Oracle Retail solutions.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or cloud-native monitoring services.
