Salary: $123,000–$185,000

• Own the implementation for a significant platform capability or set of capabilities.
• Participate in the design and development of capabilities that leverage state-of-the-art cloud-native open source components and cutting-edge AI.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members contributing to your objectives.
• Drive execution through high-quality implementation and set an example of best practices in code health and production.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in software engineering with 3+ years experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure products and services in production in Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
• Prior experience with cloud technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure, GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, or Backstage.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design with strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills for discussing new features, investigating issues, and articulating next steps.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Experience in building with LLMs to solve business problems.
• Strong working knowledge of microservices, software delivery platforms, DevSecOps, continuous integration, and release management processes.
• Familiarity working in a centralized developer platform team.
