What you will do

• Support high data rate SerDes applications up to 224G PAM4 systems.
• Perform system-level Signal and Power Integrity design trade-offs and debug.
• Develop electromagnetic field solver models, primarily with Ansys HFSS and electronic suite.
• Conduct VNA/TDR (50GHz+) measurements and correlate with models and simulations.
• Collaborate with package, PCB, and silicon designers to fulfill System SI requirements and improve best practices.
• Document and deliver SI models and support customer analysis and debug efforts.

Requirements

• BS +8yrs, MS +6 yrs or PhD +3yrs Electrical Engineering or Physics experience required.
• Expertise in Signal/Power integrity for high-speed digital applications, electromagnetic transmission line theory, or microwave theory.
• Proficiency with EM modeling tools (Ansys HFSS/SIWave/Q3D, Polar) and circuit simulation tools (Keysight ADS).
• Understanding of high-speed data communications, transmission-line theory, and electromagnetic-field theory.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, and effectively communicate complex concepts.
• Understanding of laminate design and fabrication techniques for package and PCB designs.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Matlab, Cadence APD/Allegro, Linux, Keysight AEL, Perl.
• Understanding of optical/electrical engine concepts and optical channel impairments.
