- Design and evolve core backend services for scalable customer-facing features.

- Operate as a hands-on technical leader, remaining close to the code.

- Drive technical standards and define engineering work approaches.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other senior engineers.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Lead Backend Engineer or senior-level backend engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or another modern backend language.
- Proven ability to design, build, and evolve scalable backend systems within distributed architectures.
- Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including system design, performance, and reliability.
- Experience influencing architecture and technical direction across services or teams.
- Confidence leading complex technical initiatives from early design through to delivery and mentoring other engineers.
