What you will do

• Own board and investor preparation, including financials, operating metrics, narrative, materials, and coordination.
• Lead financial planning across the company, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
• Build and run the company’s operating cadence, including quarterly planning, goal setting, and follow-through.
• Design and lead a weekly executive business review focused on revenue, spend, hiring progress, and product timelines.
• Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team, pressure-testing plans and translating strategy into concrete operating plans.
• Coordinate auditors, compliance work, and external financial partners, ensuring predictable processes.

Requirements

• Experience operating at the leadership level in a product-led tech company, ideally having owned or co-owned P&L, strategy, or general management responsibilities.
• Deep comfort with financial planning, forecasting, and metrics, with the ability to explain tradeoffs clearly to non-finance leaders.
• Prior experience as a Chief of Staff, GM, VP, or similar role operating as an extension of the CEO.
• Strong data instincts, knowing how to ask the right questions of numbers.
• Proven experience preparing board materials and leading board-facing processes.
• Judgment and presence to sit at the leadership table as a peer.

Nice to have

• Experience in gaming, consumer subscriptions, or marketplace businesses.
• Prior exposure to audits, complex compliance environments, or international operations.
• MBA or similar background, paired with real operating experience.
