Business Analyst

Location: Remote (Continental United States - CONUS)

Salary: $100,000 - $105,000 Annually

What you will do

• Coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements.
• Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified information processing systems.
• Interface between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure IT designs meet end-user needs.
• Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures.
• Collaborate with business partners to determine project scope and vision.
• Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of commensurate experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, writing documentation, and working with developers.
• Extensive Jira experience building epics, issues, bugs, and managing comprehensive user stories.
• Extensive experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite.
• Experience managing a team of Business Analysts and Technical Writers.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting backend process integrations as a Business Analyst.
• Exposure to VA Corporate Database, MPI, VA Profile Database, and existing VA network API services.
• Experience with VA and/or other Federal Agencies.
• Well versed in Agile Methodology and the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP).
