What you will do
- Coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements.
- Analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified information processing systems.
- Interface between systems architects/programmers and users to ensure IT designs meet end-user needs.
- Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures.
- Collaborate with business partners to determine project scope and vision.
- Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of commensurate experience.
- Experience gathering requirements, writing documentation, and working with developers.
- Extensive Jira experience building epics, issues, bugs, and managing comprehensive user stories.
- Extensive experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite.
- Experience managing a team of Business Analysts and Technical Writers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting backend process integrations as a Business Analyst.
- Exposure to VA Corporate Database, MPI, VA Profile Database, and existing VA network API services.
- Experience with VA and/or other Federal Agencies.
- Well versed in Agile Methodology and the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP).
