What you will do

• Provide 3rd line escalation support and solutions for complex technical issues.
• Develop, test, and maintain bespoke custom scripts to address customer requirements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to platform infrastructure and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Support and Development, to implement solutions.

Requirements

• SQL Fundamentals: Basic understanding of SQL and experience with any relational database.
• Programming Foundations: Exposure to scripting or programming languages (Perl, Python, JavaScript or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset for diagnosing issues.
• Ability to manage and prioritise tickets effectively.
• Clear and thorough documentation of troubleshooting steps and solutions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a software support environment.
• Interest in Perl or PostgreSQL development.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, JIRA, and Bitbucket.
