What you will do

• Define the end-to-end architecture for distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring alignment with modern data patterns.
• Create detailed technical blueprints for microservices, including service discovery, inter-service communication (Kafka/gRPC), and API gateway strategies.
• Establish best practices for clean code, design patterns, and documentation.
• Lead architecture review boards to evaluate new technologies and tools.
• Architect secure-by-design solutions, including OAuth2/OpenID Connect implementations and data encryption at rest and in transit.
• Act as a technical mentor for senior and mid-level developers, conducting deep-dive code reviews and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a primary focus on the Java ecosystem.
• 3+ years as Solutions Architect, specifically designing distributed, cloud-native systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Advanced experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
