What you will do

• Manage all legal and regulatory matters across the Group’s operations in the EU and UK.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, including EMI, payments law, AML/CFT, and GDPR.
• Provide hands-on legal advice to senior management and the Board on legal, regulatory, and governance considerations.
• Review, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts and proposed amendments.
• Provide legal support for new products, payment solutions, and market expansions.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across business activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in International Law or equivalent legal qualification.
• Qualified Legal Counsel in the international jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience in financial services, payments, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of EMI regulation, payments law, AML/CFT, and GDPR.
• Hands-on experience reviewing, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts.
• Fluent in Russian and English.
