What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed engineering organization across Europe.
• Partner with the CTO and Product to align engineering efforts, priorities, and delivery with company strategy.
• Scale the team thoughtfully through hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
• Establish and refine effective engineering processes for delivery excellence.
• Continuously improve delivery velocity and predictability across teams.
• Foster a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in a remote-first environment.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading and scaling engineering organizations.
• Proven track record in establishing effective processes and fostering cross-functional alignment with Product.
• Deep technical background in developer tooling, engaging on architecture with a stack including OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with structured delivery practices and pragmatic application.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust across a distributed, remote team.
• Must be based in Europe with the ability to collaborate across European time zones.
