What you will do

• Solve technical problems of the largest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.
• Drive large, impactful projects involving multiple stakeholders and many teams.
• Represent Engineering Productivity, gathering feedback and advocating for projects and vision.
• Uplevel engineering quality by setting standards in code review, incident response, and tech debt elimination.
• Participate in the On-Call rotation.

Requirements

• High level of autonomy for independent work in a distributed company setting.
• Strong communication skills to tailor messages for engineering peers and leadership.
• Supportive mindset to help grow and mentor other team members.
• Effective at stakeholder management and influencing without authority.
• Knowledge of Platform Engineering and CI/CD systems and practices (e.g., Buildkite, Backstage, Argo CD, GitOps).
• Familiarity and experience with Kubernetes.
• Broad software development background and solid knowledge in either Go or Python.
• Familiar with Linux and shell scripting.
