What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of the Internal Developer Portal (IDP), transforming complex cloud operations into intuitive UI experiences.
• Design and implement self-service backend logic using Python and APIs to allow developers to scaffold new microservices, provision cloud resources, and manage permissions.
• Aggregate data from GitHub, Jira, and Artifactory to visualize DORA metrics, giving leadership and teams actionable data on their velocity and quality.
• Write production-grade, testable Python code to integrate the toolchain (Kubernetes, GitHub, LaunchDarkly, Artifactory) and automate manual processes.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify friction points in their daily workflows, gather feedback, and prioritize features to ensure the tools solve real user problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or Go (Golang).
• Cloud Experience: Practical experience with AWS services (Serverless and compute).
• CI/CD & GitOps: Experience with tools like Jenkins and a strong understanding of GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or Flux).
• IaC: Experience writing and maintaining IaC code like Terraform, Pulumi, or OpenTofu.

Nice to have

• BA in Computer Science or MAMRAM graduate.
• Experience in testing methodologies and developing tests (e.g., Unit tests, integration tests).
• Strong foundations in TCP/IP, DNS, Network Protocols, and Routing.
• Knowledge of security principles such as risk management and threat modeling.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator.
