Platform Engineer (SaaS)

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (SaaS): Building and optimizing the infrastructure used to develop, test, and run the Veeam Data Cloud SaaS products with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and public cloud services. Focus on automating infrastructure provisioning, operating shared platform components, and ensuring high reliability and security standards for enterprise SaaS.

What you will do

• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to provision and manage public cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Operate and improve shared platform components and internal services supporting product teams.
• Document system design, configurations, processes, and decisions for a distributed team.
• Collaborate with remote engineers to build the VDC platform using modern technology stacks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for product operations.

Requirements

• Must be located in Poland.
• 3+ years of experience in production operations for a SaaS or cloud service provider.
• Experience automating infrastructure through code using technologies such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency with a breadth and depth of public cloud services.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise SaaS products with high reliability and security standards.
• Scripting skills in languages like Bash or Python.
• Understanding and experience implementing secure design principles in the cloud.
• A university degree in a technical field.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure (AKS, ADO, etc.).
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring stacks.
