What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Python backend services and tools.
• Develop data pipelines for ML/AI models, including feature engineering and preprocessing.
• Collaborate with data scientists on deploying ML/AI models into production.
• Integrate with banking systems, payment platforms, and financial messaging.
• Build secure, high-performance APIs and microservices.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, security, and data governance standards, and optimize services for scalability.

Requirements

• Strong Python proficiency (Flask, FastAPI, Django or similar).
• Solid experience in banking or financial services (payments, transaction flows, AML/FCP use cases, or similar).
• Understanding of Swift MT/MX, SEPA, ISO20022, or financial messaging frameworks.
• Experience with ML/AI pipelines, model serving, and MLOps concepts.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and test automation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with data governance, model risk management, or AI compliance.
• Background in event-driven architectures or streaming platforms.
