What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain rule-based fraud detection logic.
• Support the continuous improvement of the financial crime & fraud detection framework.
• Leverage analytical skills with SQL and Python to detect and investigate fraud, and monitor key metrics.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk & Compliance, and Operations Teams to respond to threats.
• Help document the framework and detection logic to improve visibility and alignment.

Requirements

• Solid experience in fraud analytics, ideally in a fintech or high-volume B2C environment.
• Strong understanding of rule-based fraud detection systems design, tuning, and evaluation.
• Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with data platforms like Databricks.
• Practical knowledge of payment methods (e.g., cards, tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
• Familiarity with Visa and Mastercard fraud and chargeback monitoring programs.
• Proactive, curious, and invested in building a safe, scalable framework.

Nice to have

• Python skills.
• Comfort navigating BI or visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
