Staff Software Engineer (Climatetech): Helping to shape the direction of hirify.global's technology and product by designing architecture and implementing complex parts of their system with an accent on SaaS and enterprise applications. Focus on cloud-based system architectures, IaC/Terraform, and CI/CD practices.
Location: Weekly team lunches in the office, so onsite presence is required.
Salary: £500 home office setup allowance and £2,000 annual learning allowance.

What you will do
- Partner with the Head of Engineering to design architecture and implement challenging parts of the system.
- Take full ownership of projects from conception to delivery.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define new projects and advise on technical feasibility.
- Work across teams to understand needs and deliver real-world solutions.
- Mentor engineers and help level up the team through code review.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering complex software systems and achieving large-scale user adoption.
- Deep expertise in modern web applications and distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration skills to ideate features and advise on trade-offs.
- Experience with Python and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to design and implement cloud-based system architectures.
- Knowledge of IaC/Terraform and modern CI/CD practices.
