Location: This is a hybrid role reporting to our San Francisco location. We are not considering candidates residing in the following states: Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Mississippi (MS), Missouri (MO), Nebraska (NE), South Dakota (SD), Vermont (VT), West Virginia (WV), and Wisconsin (WI).

Salary: $250,000 - 295,000

What you will do

• Lead and scale a high-performing software organization including mobile, backend, and AI/LLM engineers.
• Set strategic direction for the Health Intelligence platform and Core UX, focusing on AI/ML, innovation, and personalized user experience.
• Build and evolve the Health Intelligence platform using AI/machine learning for Oura Insights and Advisor.
• Develop delightful and consistent user experiences and build system capabilities for other teams to innovate on.
• Drive a data- and AI-driven culture, leveraging data and AI for innovation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders to deliver exceptional value to Oura members and shape technology strategy.

Requirements

• Proven Software Leadership with demonstrated success in leading diverse, geographically-distributed teams.
• 5+ years of experience hiring, developing, and scaling software teams, including managing managers and Principal ICs.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams that build and operate AI/ML platforms for data-rich products.
• Track record of driving impact through software products, from roadmap planning to execution.
• Experience owning the architecture and evolution of large-scale mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and practical experience designing, operating, and optimizing GenAI/LLM integrations.
