What you will do
- Shape and enhance the Python-based simulation environment.
- Design mathematical models and integrate them into core tools.
- Develop, test, and verify algorithms, training users to master these tools.
- Explore and integrate new approaches like Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI to enhance simulation workflows and user support.
- Apply models to real OHB space projects, including space environment analysis and propulsion plume simulations.
- Communicate results to internal and external clients and publish significant work in conferences.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in applied mathematics, physics, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- Strong scientific programming skills (Python preferred).
- Analytical mindset, adaptability, and problem-solving drive.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of meshing or visualization tools (e.g., Salome, gmsh, ParaView).
