What you will do

• Own the design and long-term evolution of a core audio simulation and data generation system, narrowing the gap between simulated and real-world production audio.
• Model realistic audio signal chains, spanning acoustic environments, capture conditions, and downstream processing as they occur in real products and voice-agent systems.
• Translate real customer and production audio into simulation assumptions, identifying what matters perceptually and statistically.
• Develop efficient DSP implementations that work in real-time and streaming use cases as well as in large-scale offline data augmentation.
• Build and maintain tooling and abstractions that make complex audio simulations configurable and reproducible.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in digital audio signal processing and acoustics, with a strong mathematical foundation and proven experience designing and implementing realistic audio simulations and transformations.
• Strong systems engineering experience, turning research or prototype implementations into robust, high-performance production code.
• Proficiency in Python for rapid development and tooling.
• Ability to write highly efficient low-level code in at least one of Rust, C, or C++.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and make pragmatic engineering decisions, with prior experience in a start-up or highly dynamic, product-driven environment.
