Tech Operations Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Tech Operations Engineer (AI): Scaling hirify.global globally as the technical point of contact for North America, working on everything from automating IT processes to managing office technical build-outs. Focus on automation, managing configuration for macOS, IAM, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Location: Remote, United States. This is the first North American hire for Tech Operations. Ability to commute to the new New York office is a bonus.

What you will do

• Scale hirify.global globally as the technical point of contact for the North American region.
• Automate IT processes and manage configuration at scale.
• Manage the technical build-out of new offices.
• Work hands-on with Mobile Device Management (MDM) tooling and Identity Access Management (IAM).
• Script solutions using Python, Bash, or similar for IT security tasks.
• Maintain compliance with SOC2 / ISO27001 standards.

Requirements

• Automation-first mindset with experience managing configuration at scale for macOS.
• Experience in Technical Operations, DevOps-adjacent, or IT Engineering roles.
• Expertise with Mobile Device Management tooling (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Fleet).
• Experience with SAML, SCIM, OIDC, and Identity Access Management (Okta, Google Workspace).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash or similar) with a proven track record of automating compliance checks and device configurations.
• Experience managing office network equipment (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti).
• Proven ability to maintain compliance with SOC2 / ISO27001 standards.
• Must be eligible to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a high growth / startup environment.
• Deep understanding of endpoint security standards (NIST/CIS).
• Can commute to the (new) New York office.
• Terraform (or other infrastructure as code) experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with VPNs, firewalls, and secure network environments, with knowledge of modern security practices such as Zero Trust networking.
