Cyber Security Architect

TL;DR

Cyber Security Architect: Delivering and managing cyber security assignments and providing advice rooted in an understanding of clients' business situations and objectives with an accent on identifying security risks and applying appropriate control frameworks. Focus on complex and innovative architecture and security advice, maintaining awareness of industry trends, and investigating major breaches of security.

Location: Must hold, or be able to hold, an HMG Security Check (SC) clearance and reside in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Deliver and lead cyber security and risk assignments, producing documentation and reports.
• Work as a subject matter expert to support a team in delivering engagements at scale.
• Develop vision, principles, and strategy for security architectures for projects.
• Provide clients with advice to help them navigate complex, risk-driven cyber decisions.
• Contribute to the development of information security policy, standards, and guidelines.
• Lead the technical design of systems and services.

Requirements

• Experienced consultant with a background in Cyber Security.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Information Security related positions.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in security architecture.
• Certification in AWS or Azure for Architecture and Security or similar.
• Knowledge of secure network architecture and technical design.
• Must hold, or be able to hold, an HMG Security Check (SC) clearance.

Nice to have

• Security Certification e.g ISC2 CISSP, ISC2 CCSP, ISACA CISM or similar
• Knowledge of evolving digital technology/applications e.g. AI/Digital twins/IoT
• Knowledge of principles, practices, tools and techniques of IT auditing.
