What you will do

• Ensure projects consider security in design, setting security needs and requirements for alignment to L&G Security Policies and Standards.
• Review the design of in-flight or existing services, conduct risk assessments, and identify security gaps.
• Act as a source of expert Information Security advice to projects and in response to user queries.
• Represent the Group Finance Security team to senior business stakeholders and identify areas for added benefit.
• Actively work to improve the Group Finance IT Security Maturity and Capability, suggesting process enhancements.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of various Information Security areas (e.g., Access Control, secure architecture principles, cryptography, operational controls).
• Knowledge of threat modelling, control frameworks (e.g., ISO2700x, COBIT, ITIL, NIST Cyber Security Framework) and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience in security design in projects (setting requirements, reviewing architecture).
• Experience in risk assessment and control selection.
• Work hybrid from Hove, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Appropriate security qualifications and memberships (e.g., CISSP).
