TL;DR

Principal Security Architect: Leading and delivering complex security architecture engagements for public sector clients with an accent on strategic solution shaping, risk management, and compliance with frameworks like GovAssure and NIST RMF. Focus on designing mission-critical applications, ensuring client satisfaction through quality assurance, and driving the adoption of Secure by Design principles.

Location: Must be able to apply learnings to UK Public Sector challenges.

What you will do

  • Lead and deliver strategically significant security architecture engagements for public sector clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand needs, provide solution advice, and shape secure solutions.
  • Act as a Technical Authority, ensuring alignment with best practices and contributing to hirify.global knowledge.
  • Participate in business development activities, including bids and pre-sales.
  • Undertake people management responsibilities and mentor team members.
  • Serve as a thought leader and represent the company at industry events.

Requirements

  • Experience with UK Public Sector issues, challenges, and transformation.
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing consulting teams.
  • Deep experience in delivering assured digital services and complex security transformations.
  • Expertise in designing and building mission-critical applications and authoring security documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing security risk processes (e.g., NIST RMF).
  • Experience with security maturity assessments (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF, DevSecOps).
