What you will do

• Unlock new audio capabilities within models, covering both pre-training and post-training.
• Improve the quality of models for sound understanding and generation, including research into tokenizers and generation techniques.
• Investigate joint audio and visual representations to enhance model performance.
• Develop better evaluation methods, including human, auto raters, and automated metrics, for open-ended tasks.
• Lead efforts in developing novel algorithmic architectures towards Artificial General Intelligence.
• Advance research in sound understanding, joint audio-video generation, and audio editing.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science or a related Machine Learning field required.
• Proven experience in audio understanding and/or generation required.
• Demonstrated track record of research and publications in audio generation, video generation, or LLMs required.
