Location: Global remote, with a request to overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

What you will do

  • Lead engineering teams responsible for core Chainlink products and services across the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Drive high reliability, scalability, and quality across production systems.
  • Partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to shape roadmaps and deliver meaningful user outcomes.
  • Balance short-term execution with long-term platform evolution.
  • Coach, develop, and retain engineers, fostering a healthy, engaged team culture.

Requirements

  • Exposure to taking products or platforms from early concept through production adoption in a Web3 environment.
  • Strong product sense, with the ability to connect engineering decisions to user needs and business impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and lead teams through ambiguity and complexity.
  • Clear motivation and capability to support, grow, and develop engineers at multiple career stages.
  • Sufficient technical depth to guide architectural discussions, assess trade-offs, and unblock teams.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and execute against a single, high-impact backlog.

Nice to have

  • Experience communicating effectively with senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Track record of managing and developing senior or staff-level engineers.
  • Experience leading teams in high-pressure or operationally intensive environments.
  • Background spanning both larger, mature organizations and smaller or fast-scaling teams.
