Engineering Intern

TL;DR

Engineering Intern: Working on high-value engineering projects to deliver real-world impact to customers, candidates, and the engineering organization with an accent on leveraging AI to improve issue visibility and system resiliency. Focus on delivering AI-integrated solutions and building scalable ML/AI models.

Location: Expected to work from the Denver office 4 days a week.

Salary: $35 USD hourly

What you will do

• Enhance systems to streamline operations, improve resilience, and develop tools that empower stakeholders.
• Build platform capabilities in high-throughput microservices to be used throughout the hirify.global ecosystem.
• Increase automation in incident response and cloud infrastructure.
• Work on production-grade data pipelines to impact how analytics code is shipped.
• Work on ML, AI, observability, fine-tuning, and RAG while defining success metrics.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Ruby, Python, and/or SQL.
• Enthusiasm and interest in AI.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and pride in your work.
• Self-awareness and a desire to better yourself.
• Curiosity about how and why things work.
• Recently completed or graduating in Spring 2025 with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
