TL;DR

Senior Java Developer (Fintech): Designing and implementing robust backend solutions for capital markets software with an accent on configuration, customization, and API integration. Focus on optimizing system performance, ensuring scalability, and collaborating with clients to deliver successful financial software implementations.

Location: Based in Mexico (Colonia Juarez, Mexico City) with willingness and ability to travel frequently to client sites. Remote connection is also possible.

What you will do

Design and implement solutions, including configuration and customization using Java and messaging.
Define and improve best practices for software implementation.
Conduct meetings with clients for requirements gathering, support, demonstrations, and training.
Train users and customer developers on system usage and technical setup.
Assist developers in understanding and extending the system's API for data integration and interfaces.
Work hands-on with system installation and configuration to meet customer technical requirements.

Requirements

More than 5 years of experience in systems or technical analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry.
Proficiency in Java, REST API, RMI, J2EE, Spring Boot, Docker, and containers.
Strong object-oriented analysis, design, and development skills.
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with working experience in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
Business-level English is required.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (if needed).
