What you will do
- Attract, recruit, ramp, and mentor a team of presales Solutions Engineers using a servant-based leadership approach.
- Direct regional planning, actions, and outcomes, partnering with sales leadership on customer programs and marketing initiatives.
- Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts and act as a thought leader to customers and the company.
- Understand customer strategies, develop enablement programs, and ensure product requirements are met by partnering with Product Management and Engineering.
- Own and report on team cadence, assisting prospects with demonstrations, technical deep dives, trials, and POVs.
- Find and drive enablement with channel partners at local, geo, and global levels.
Requirements
- Must be located on the West Coast of the United States.
- 3-4 years of experience leading a team as a manager.
- 7-10 years in the high-tech industry in roles such as Developer, Architect, or Sales Engineer.
- Proven track record of mentoring, developing people, and managing performance.
- Direct experience selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
- Proven ability to own a book of business, direct your own and your team's work, and exceed quarterly targets.
