What you will do

• Design and code market leading platform micro-services.
• Build in quality and automated testing at all stages of development and deployment.
• Adhere to agile scrum development and quality practices.
• Understand and apply architectural strategy and standards.
• Participate in the complete lifecycle of software services from inception to L3 customer support.
• Deploy and manage micro-services using Kubernetes on AWS cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a hands-on C++ engineer role developing commercial software.
• Extensive experience developing high performance, low-latency, multi-threaded runtime code.
• Solid experience of Scrum and associated agile development processes and methodologies.
• Solid experience of understanding and delivering to complex product requirements and relating development goals to client needs.
• Experience in software development methodologies including strong software architecture, design, problem solving, performance tuning, debugging, and mentoring skills.
• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience developing with Java and Spring, or statistical scripting languages like Python would be an advantage.
