What you will do

• Break down large projects into tasks and deliver in phases with team collaboration.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to support product development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and evolve backend APIs.
• Support operations and availability through monitoring, escalation, and on-call efforts.
• Engage in team growth activities including participation in interviews.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin and experience with backend system design and launch.
• Familiarity with distributed systems technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
• Position requires equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Must be located in Canada as role is remote within the country only.
