TL;DR

Application Engineer (CRM Technology): Designing and building scalable applications and tools for internal business systems with an accent on backend services, high volume integrations, and application uptime. Focus on creating business impact, leveraging multi-cloud infrastructure, and ensuring highly-available services at significant scale.

Location: Must work from an office 4+ days per week in Los Angeles, CA, Bellevue, Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Seattle, US

Salary: $157,000–$235,000 annually (Zone A: CA, WA, NYC), $149,000–$223,000 annually (Zone B), $133,000–$200,000 annually (Zone C).

What you will do

  • Work with Product Managers and Customers to understand business problems.
  • Design and build scalable applications and features focused on creating business impact.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to build and maintain high volume inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Ensure high application uptime.
  • Build technical documentation and contribute towards engineering excellence in CRM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience in Java, C++, Python and/or Apex.
  • Experience with backend services or distributed systems.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL solutions, Memcache/Redis, Kubernetes, or Google/AWS services.
  • Solid knowledge of unit testing.
  • Ability to independently execute on medium sized features and participate in incident or hotfix investigation.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM including Apex Programming and Lightning Web Components.
  • Experience or willingness to learn to create data pipelines using Airflow.
