What you will do

• Set technical direction for parts of our web platform, and drive alignment across teams.
• Identify leverage opportunities for web engineering (quality, delivery speed, reliability) and execute on them.
• Partner with product engineers and leads to design solutions that fit the wider ecosystem.
• Build and evolve internal tooling, frameworks, and golden paths that scale across teams.
• Improve the reliability and usability of our CI and local developer workflows.
• Coach and mentor engineers, and help grow technical leadership in the frontend community.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining complex web applications at scale.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend engineering (React experience is a plus).
• Experience designing maintainable systems (including frontend-facing APIs and platform boundaries).
• Knowledge of testing practices and tooling (unit, integration, end-to-end) and a strong quality mindset.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and developer productivity improvements (faster, more reliable feedback loops).
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices for web systems (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).
