What you will do
- Lead and influence across R&D to drive business value for hirify.global and its restaurant customers.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic direction for hirify.global’s AI-enabled products.
- Shape and execute the vision of the ML Platform at hirify.global with Data Science, ML Engineering, and Platform teams.
- Break down larger ML initiatives into smaller problems to deliver incremental business value.
- Coach and mentor data scientists and ML engineers for successful career growth.
- Help to build out and expand hirify.global’s AI product portfolio.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience leading Data Science & ML Engineering teams.
- Prior success deploying machine learning solutions in large-scale production environments.
- Strong knowledge of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning.
- Demonstrated excellence in a relevant AI/ML discipline (CV, NLP), including experience with ML model building using Scikit, Tensorflow, and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of fundamentals of machine learning, such as algorithm families, AB testing, hypothesis testing, and optimization.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated through documentation and presentations to inform business decisions.
